We’ll spend our days immersed in nature, learning, creating, and reconnecting—with the land and with ourselves.

You’ll experience:

  • Guided foraging walks and plant identification

  • Herbal medicine making (hands-on, practical, empowering)

  • Wild food cooking over a fire

  • Forest bathing and deep nervous system reset

  • Wildcrafting and nature-based crafts

  • Herbal mocktail making (yes, they taste amazing)

Time to breathe. Sit by the fire. Wander. Be.

We’ll also be intentionally stepping away from our phones—either turning them off or leaving them in a safe place—so you can fully disconnect from the EMF overload and constant stimulation.

Layne Whitley

Layne is the property owner and will be guiding us to her favorite spots in the nearby forested paths where we can forage wild foods and medicinal plants and get deep into nature. Layne is a life coach, author, and advocate for living alcohol-free and in harmony with the natural world. Her work blends ancestral wisdom, modern science, and a deep respect for nature’s ability to heal and restore.

Amelia South

Herbalist, Foraging Instructor, Author, Teacher, Barefoot Hiker, and that lady you've probably seen on the internet. Amelia's passion is bringing nature and healing back into your life on ALL levels.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if there's a big storm that weekend?

If the weather report for that weekend ends up being so outrageously bad, I will email you a week ahead of time to find out if you want to reschedule or get a refund. If we can't reschedule the event before October, we will refund you $375 of the price you paid.

What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel for your own reasons up to 1 month before the event. If you cancel up to two weeks before the event, there will be a partial refund. No refund if you cancel two weeks or less before the event.

Can I shower or bring my own food?

There will be a camp shower on-site as well as a port-a-potty for your bathroom needs. We will have a hose and water and the house in case of emergency. All food is provided but feel free to bring your own snacks if you need some. This is an alcohol-free event.
