First Year Ever

No BS Herb School

A hands-on, season-by-season herbal apprenticeship program for women ready to trust themselves again.

You don’t need another pretty herb book collecting dust on your shelf.
You need dirt under your nails. Plants in your hands. Medicine you made yourself.

No BS Herb School is a 7-month, in-person immersion designed for women who are done feeling confused, dependent, or disconnected from their bodies. This is practical, grounded, bio-regional herbalism — the kind you can actually use in real life.

If you’ve ever thought:

  • “I want to feel confident using herbs — not intimidated.”

  • “I’m tired of Googling symptoms and second-guessing everything.”

  • “I want to know what grows around me and how to use it.”

  • “I want to feel strong, capable, and connected again.”

You’re in the right place.

What You’ll Learn (And Actually Do)

🌿 Wildcrafting by the Season

Each day begins with a ceremonial smudge to help us center and ground before we begin.

We’ll start every workshop with a foraging walk, identifying the plants and mushrooms in season, observing them at different stages of growth, discussing the ideal time to harvest, and choosing the most effective medicinal preparations based on their unique constituents. We'll ethically harvest our own herbs to create medicine with.

We’ll cover small-scale growing of essential herbs for New England practitioners, including:

  • Catnip

  • Sage

  • Calendula

  • Basil

  • Marshmallow

  • Chamomile

  • St. John’s Wort

  • Holy Basil

  • Cayenne

  • Ginger

We will be planting and growing in a practice garden on-site, so you will get firsthand experiential guidance from a professional herb grower. You don’t need a farm at home. A backyard or small garden is enough. You’ll learn how to grow what you’ll actually work with in your practice.

Processing & Medicine Making

This is where most people freeze. Not here.

You will learn how to confidently make:

  • Infused oils

  • Teas

  • Tinctures

  • Herbal honeys

  • Capsules

  • And more

More importantly — you’ll learn when to use which preparation and why.

No fluff. No vague “this herb is good for everything” nonsense.
You’ll understand application.

You'll also get the chance to taste some wild plants and learn some simple dishes to make for dinner.

Understanding the Body

We’ll cover a general overview of organ systems and how to apply herbalism and nutritional support in a grounded, practical way.

Because herbs don’t work in isolation — they work in context.

You’ll begin thinking like an herbalist.

Because knowledge integrates deeper when your nervous system is regulated.

You’ll leave grounded. Clear. Open.

Who This Is For

This is for the woman who:

  • Is tired of feeling dependent on modern medicine alone

  • Is ready to learn a more sustainable lifestyle

  • Wants confidence — not more information overload

  • Feels called to something deeper, more ancestral, more embodied

  • Wants to reclaim her competence

This is not about becoming trendy.
This is about becoming capable.

(I'll still let you in if you're a great guy!)

Why “No BS”?

Because herbalism has become either overly romanticized or overly clinical.

I teach the middle path:

  • Practical

  • Bioregional

  • Rooted in experience

  • Clear

  • Effective

You will leave knowing how to:

  • Harvest safely

  • Grow strategically

  • Make medicine safely and confidently

  • Support your family wisely

And most importantly — trust yourself.
